the limitless way.
limitless works because the players, families, coaches and volunteers help create the right environment. these simple guidelines help us keep sessions safe, relaxed and genuinely inclusive for everyone.
- Parents and caregivers need to remain at our sessions and visible at all times - we kindly ask parents & caregivers to stay the full length of the session and remain visible at all times in case players need additional help and support
- TIMEKEEPING - we kindly ASK THAT YOU ARRIVE IN GOOD TIME FOR THE SESSION. LATE ARRIVALS CAN CAUSE DISRUPTION FOR PLAYERS WHO RELY ON ROUTINE AND STRUCTURE ESPECIALLY IF ACTIVITIES ARE UNDERWAY. WE COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND DELAYS CAN HAPPEN BUT ASK YOU TRY YOUR BEST
- every child is different - our coaches get it, many have children at the club and or personal links to neurodiversity. please tell our coaches anything that may help support players - triggers, anxiety, communication needs, sensory issues or anything else relevant
- No pressure - ever - Players can take a break, sit out, watch, re-join or approach activities in their own time. we care about participation, not performance.
- respect everyones space - players, parents, caregivers, siblings, coaches and volunteers should be treated with kindness, respect and understanding. negative comments, shouting or criticism from the sidelines are not part of limitless
- ability is irrelevant - we are here to help players grow, learn and enjoy being part of something
- coaches coach, parents support - coaches do their best to organise and run sessions, where behaviour becomes challenging we look to parents & caregivers to get involved and support. we believe no one knows your children better than you.
- safety first - please make coaches aware of any injuries or anything that affects participation - ensure children arrive with suitable clothing, footwear and drinks
- behaviour will be supported not judged - we understand dysregulation can happen - however behaviour that creates a genuine safety risk may mean a player needs some time away with a parent or caregiver
- talk to us - if something is not working, a child is struggling or you have concerns - speak to a coach or volunteer privately. we would much rather know and do what we can to help
- this is their space - we do our best to make sure the players enjoy the football without worrying about winning, losing, making mistakes or being compared to anyone else
